2010 summary

I don't know if anyone else would care about my travel stats, I am not totally sure I do myself.  I am still going to archive them while they are available.

2010 saw my butt leave the earth strapped to a pile of aluminum a total of 45 times for a total of 28,471 miles flown.  My first flights on Airtran, Alaska, and Air Canada were made this year as well as my last flight on Northwest.

7 flights and 1886 miles on American
32 flights and 21471 miles on Delta
4 flights and 2613 miles on United


17 Amtrak trips took me through 7 states for a total of 1468 rail miles travelled.  Routes included the hometown Empire Builder, Hiawatha, Amtrak Cascades, and Keystone Service. Roadtrips included the Omaha, Des Moines, and Kansas City. 

In total 15 states and 1 province in 3 time zones including first visits to Missouri, North Dakota, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia.

Introduction

This was created as a way to purge the majority of my travel thoughts off Facebook and expand to a full travel journal without the perceived guilt of spamming. Hopefully I can expand to add photos, maps, and shiny things to my text.  I am also hoping that it will keep my itinerary planning more organized, I have been way too lucky with the scraps of paper system.
